Neuroradiologist
Professor Emmanuel Houdart is in charge of the Interventional Neuroradiology Unit within the Neuroradiology Department since 1997. Every year, the Unit carries out 800 cerebral angiography and 500 endovascular interventions in the brain, the spinal cord and the ENT area. The Unit is one of the most experienced centres in France for interventional neuroradiology. In addition to clinical work, he carries out research to assess new techniques of treatment for intracranial aneurysms, cerebral arteriovenous malformations and atheroma of cerebral arteries.
