Guidelines

The purpose of reference centres, working with the Authority for Health (HAS, Haute Autorité de santé), is to gradually build up national protocols for diagnosis and care ("PNDS"). The aim of these protocols is to ensure that the medication and products which are essential for the treatment of rare diseases are covered by the national health insurance system. In 2008, CERVCO will join HAS in proposing the first protocol for CADASIL.
